1st Quarterly Conference 2012

Dear Fellow LATA Members & Guests,

The First Quarter LATA Conference is scheduled for March 7 – 9, 2012, at the West Baton Rouge Conference Center in Port Allen, Louisiana. The Conference Center is located just off of I-10 at 2750 North Westport Drive.

For your convenience, we have blocked rooms at three hotels:

Holiday Inn Express, 2860 North Westport Drive, (225) 343-9967
Hampton Inn & Suites, 2755 Commercial Drive, (225) 389-6655
Comfort Suites, 2880 North Westport Drive, (225) 343-4300

All three hotels are just steps away from the Conference Center and offer complimentary breakfast! The group rate for all hotels is $77 per night; however a few suites are available at the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn & Suites for $89 per night. (Our hospitality room will be located on the first floor of the Holiday Inn Express.) Be sure to identify that your reservation is for the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators and make your reservation no later than February 15, 2012.

The quarterly golf scramble will be held at The Island Gold Course on Wednesday, March 7th at 8:00 am. The course is located at 23550 Myrtle Grove Road, Plaquemine, LA. The registration fee is $50 and includes green fees, cart, and lunch.

We welcome any assistance in the form of contributions/donations. Contributions may include door prizes, goody bag items, golf prizes, or cash donations.
